The launch of the newly constituted Nevis Investment Promotion Agency (NIPA) was held on Wednesday May 21, 2008 at 5:30pm at the Old Manor Hotel, Gingerland.

Keynote speakers at the launch included the Premier of Nevis, Honourable Joseph Parry and U.S. Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, Mrs. Mary Martin Ourisman.

NIPA is the new autonomous investment promotion agency in Nevis which has evolved from the Nevis Financial Services Development & Marketing in the Ministry of Finance. It will be responsible for investment promotion, investment facilitation, aftercare services and advocating policy changes to enhance the investment climate in Nevis.
